The AI Tools Assessment: what you get for €500

The AI Tools Assessment is a fixed €500 look at how your week actually runs, ending with a plain plan and a four-day quick-start you can follow.

If you run a business in Cork or anywhere across Munster, you have probably had the same thought I hear most weeks: everyone says you should be “using AI”, but nobody tells you what that means for your actual Tuesday. So you park it. The AI Tools Assessment exists to un-park it, without asking you to gamble a big budget or sit through a sales pitch. Here is exactly what you get for the money, and how to decide if it’s worth it.

What the AI Tools Assessment actually is

It’s a paid, roughly 45-minute conversation about how your week runs, followed by a short written plan. That’s it. I’m not there to sell you software or sign you up to anything. I look at the repetitive bits of your week, the admin that eats time without adding much, and I tell you which of it can sensibly be handled by AI tools today, and which of it can’t.

Just as important is what it isn’t. It’s not a generic “AI strategy” deck full of buzzwords, and it’s not me trying to talk you into a big build. Plenty of what I suggest, you can do yourself with tools you may already be paying for. If that’s the honest answer, that’s the answer you get.

What happens in the 45 minutes

We talk. I ask you to walk me through a normal week, the way you’d explain it to a new hire. Where do the hours go? What gets done twice? What lands in your inbox that you quietly dread? Say you run a busy dental practice: it might be the back-and-forth of appointment reminders, the same five email replies typed out fresh every day, and someone copying figures between two systems every Friday afternoon.

I’m listening for one specific thing: the dull, repeatable jobs that don’t need your judgement but still eat your team’s hours. Chasing quotes and invoices. Drafting and summarising. Pulling numbers together for a report. Answering the same questions over and over. Those are the jobs where AI earns its keep. The clever, human parts of your work, I leave well alone.

What you walk away with

After the conversation, you get two things, both in plain English with no jargon:

  • A written plan that names the two or three jobs worth automating first, the tools I’d use for each, a rough sense of the time you’d get back, and, honestly, the bits that aren’t worth touching yet.
  • A four-day quick-start you can follow yourself. One small, useful thing to set up each day, in order, so you’re not staring at a blank page wondering where to begin.

The plan is written for you, not for me. If we never speak again, you should still be able to pick it up and get real value from it. I’d rather you leave able to act than leave dependent on me to explain it.

The guarantee, and where the €500 goes

Two things take the risk out of the €500. First, the guarantee: if the assessment doesn’t find you at least five hours a week worth of time to claw back, you pay nothing. Not a discount, nothing. I’m confident about that because in most owner-run businesses the repetitive admin is hiding in plain sight, and five hours is a low bar once you actually start counting.

Second, the fee isn’t a sunk cost. If you decide you’d like me to build the thing rather than do it yourself, your €500 comes straight off the price of the implementation, which starts from €1,500. So the assessment is either a €500 plan you run yourself, or a €500 down-payment on a done-for-you build. Either way the money is working for you.

Is it worth €500? Who it suits

It suits you if you’re curious about AI but tired of vague advice, and you’d rather spend a small, fixed amount to find out what’s real than either ignore the whole thing or throw money at the wrong tool. It suits owners and operations people who know their week is leaky but can’t quite put a finger on where.

It probably isn’t for you if you’ve already mapped your automations and just need a pair of hands to build them, or if what you really want is a general sense of what this stuff costs across the market. For that second question I’ve written a separate piece on what AI automation costs a small business in Ireland. And if you’re weighing up doing it all yourself, the one on going DIY versus bringing someone in is worth a read first.

What happens after the assessment

Nothing you don’t choose. There are three routes from here:

  1. Take the plan and run it yourself. The four-day quick-start is built for exactly this. Plenty of people never need me again, and that’s completely fine.
  2. Have me build it. If you’d rather it was set up properly and left running, implementation starts from €1,500, with your €500 credited against the price.
  3. Keep me on tap. If you want an ongoing hand as you add more over time, the AI Concierge is €999 a month, month-to-month, with no long contract and no lock-in.

There’s no pressure toward any of them. The whole point of a fixed-price, guaranteed assessment is that you can find out where AI genuinely fits your business for €500, and then decide with a clear head.

If your week feels busier than it should and you’d like a straight, plain-English read on where AI can quietly take a few hours off it, the AI Tools Assessment is the place to start. Worst case, you walk away with a plan you can run yourself. Best case, you get five hours of your week back.

The assessment is credited in full if you go on to a build, and if I can’t find you five hours a week you pay nothing. See how it works.
